About Poko Labs
Poko Labs is building PokoPod for people who want practical control over identity, agreements, files, and permissioned access, without having to become security engineers to protect themselves.
Mission
Most digital services ask users to hand over identity, behavior, documents, payment context, and legal acceptance records before the user can act. PokoPod inverts that model: the pod belongs to the user, and services should ask for narrow permissions when they need something.
The long-term goal is a healthier data economy where users can answer useful questions about themselves without exposing a full personal dossier.
PokoPod and the Poko logo are trademarks of Poko Labs Ltd. The product is currently documented as a local-first privacy tool with ongoing security hardening before broad production claims.
Principles
Store sensitive data on the user’s machine by default and minimize what leaves it.
Turn complex terms, security states, and permissions into language a non-specialist can act on.
Make external access explicit, narrow, and revocable instead of silent and open-ended.
