Local-first by design
PokoPod is built around a simple rule: your identity, files, agreement receipts, masks, and personal data should reside in your Local Pod on your own computer. Cloud services should not become the default owner of your private life.

PokoPod is designed around local storage, narrow bridge permissions, masked identifiers, signed messages, readable legal summaries, and recovery without platform custody. The product can support service-provider queries, but the goal is permissioned answers instead of raw vault access.
Roadmap
PokoPod already has the core pieces of a local-first privacy platform: masked identity, encrypted local vault storage, Poko Sentry agreement capture, and Pod-to-Pod transfer. The next phase is focused on helping users take back control of their personal data with safer AI analysis and a private in-pod assistant named Joyce.
