Privacy Policy

PokoPod is being built so your private data stays with you.

This page is a short statement for the current private testing stage. A fuller public-facing privacy policy will follow as PokoPod moves toward public release.

Privacy by design

PokoPod is designed as a local-first system. The goal is that your pod lives on your own device and your private information stays under your control rather than being handed over to a central cloud account.

PokoPod is being developed so that supporting services handle only the minimum needed to keep the system working, while private pod contents remain with the user.

Core principle: PokoPod is intended to give the user control of their own data, not to build a business around holding that data centrally.

Current testing stage

PokoPod is currently in limited private testing. The product is still being refined, and some technical flows, security controls, and supporting services may change before public release.

Because of that, this page is intentionally simple and reflects the direction of the product rather than a final production policy.

What this means in practice

  • Your pod is intended to stay on your own system.
  • PokoPod is intended to operate on a local-first basis wherever possible.
  • Private pod contents are not intended to be openly exposed through the relay or admin network.
  • The architecture and policy wording will be updated as the public version of PokoPod is finalised.

Future update

Before public release, this privacy page will be expanded into a fuller policy covering the live product, the final data flows, and the contact details for the operating entity behind PokoPod.
